Chicago Hate Crime Victim Speaks Out – What He Says Is Heartbreaking

Four thugs were arrested yesterday after they committed a brutal hate crime against a white teenager, who they tortured and beat while screaming things like “f*ck white people” and “f*ck Donald Trump!”

Since the attack earlier this week, the 18 year-old victim has been so traumatized by the attack that he has been unable to speak about it: until now.

The perpetrators of the attack were. Brittany Covington, 18; her sister Tanisha Covington, 24; Tesfaye Cooper, 18; and Jordan Hill, 18. The victim was reportedly lured into the home where he was held hostage by Hill, a classmate of his who he thought was his friend.

Daily Mail reported that the victim’s aunt Janet Grant told reporters on Friday, “[The victim] just keeps saying, ‘Why, why? Jordan was my friend. He’s been my friend for a couple of years.'”

“They went to school together, they both had problems,” she added. “He adores Jordan. I don’t know Jordan but [the victim] really liked him. It’s one thing if they didn’t know each other but [the victim] idolized him.”

Grant added that the family has been doing “terrible” since the assault.

“He’s got enough problems already. They put cigarette butts out on his head, cut a hole in his scalp. Once they took him to Chicago, he had no meds for four days. He couldn’t even fight back,” she said. “Physically he’ll heal but mentally…he’ll always be looking over his shoulder. Probably won’t trust anybody.”

Grant went on to say that she’s not sure if the family will even attend the first court hearing of the four suspects on Friday.

“I don’t even know if my brother’s going – everyone is having a hard time dealing with it,” she said.

“I don’t know what made people do that. It’s crazy,” added Kyle Pudowski, the victim’s cousin.

“Or even watch people do that,” Grant added. “How could a woman watch that? They thought it was going to make them popular – putting cigarette butts out on a kid with [mental health issues].”

Please keep your thoughts and prayers with the victim and his family!
